The Purpose
The stone patio in front of the porch had collected years of dirt, leaf stains and tire marks. The goal was to bring back the original colour so the front of the house looked cared for again.
The Challenge
This area mixes stone, concrete and wood, and each one needs a different approach. Gravel and plants right next to the patio also had to be protected from overspray.
How we did it
The Steps We Took to Get It Right
- Surface-by-Surface
Lower pressure for the wood and softer stone, higher for the concrete, so nothing was damaged.
- Stain Treatment
Spot-treated leaf, rust and oil marks before the main wash.
- Protecting the Garden
Kept the gravel in place and rinsed nearby plants so they were not left coated in grime.
- Full Clean-Up
Washed down the steps and walls and cleared away all the debris at the end.
